He was quite specific about what he wanted pose wise for this picture, but I didn't mind at all... it ended up working rather well in the end I think. There's a few small anatomy issues, but once again I opted over a better picture feeling and overall look as opposed to copping out and going with the things I know best but aren't as interesting.
Also, the background he asked for gave me a chance to try out some fun lighting ideas. I'm not sure it worked 100%, the lighting is a little less distinct on the characters than I had hoped, but overall I'm quite thrilled with it.
About the only thing I'm really not happy with in this picture is the spots xD That... could have gone better. I'm sorry D: But the rest of it, quite a success I think. Not perfect, but pretty good, if I do say so myself!
But, let's hope the commissioner feels the same. Lemme know how I did, everyone!
