That or someone wanted to bring out the more inherent beauty of the species. One of the most distinct things about reptiles is they lack things mammals have, as well as possess things we don't have. A lot of furries find anthros neater when both are highlighted in design.

But that's just speaking in general, the poster here was just trying to make the image "work safe"? Still doesn't look like something I'd take a chance looking at while working.

If I only uploaded it, then changes for deletion are high, but I did actually ask two seperate staff members about it before uploading. Also I didn't want to modify the artists version at all, but it would still be pretty easy to post-process to make it much better if necessary.

And my comment wasn't about approval if that's the prompt for commenting, this edit is more than acceptable, but more about how I have seen this particular image so many times now. Also actually seems like this is edit to artists own edited version which hasn't been uploaded here yet.
