Description

"Sunny Morning Raine"
We switch back over to Team B with Maren and the awkward girl-turned-wolf Raine.

Sketch of 979th page of TwoKinds.

Transcript

Caption: The next morning…

Raine: Ngh…

Raine: Mmph… Wow, I haven’t slept that well in ages…

Raine: Huh? Maren? What are you doing in my tent?

[Insert awkward pause here]

Raine: Yiiiip!! Maren! I-I’m so sorry! I don’t even remember falling asleep! Why didn’t you just push me off?

Maren: You were very heavy.

Sythe: And she wouldn’t let us wake you up. She cares more than she lets on.

Maren: Shut it, fleabag!

Sythe: Whatever you say, ice queen.

  • This comic has devolved into a series of semi-inapropriate jokes and gags.
I still follow it online but it is a bit sad to see how not a single page can survive without a "ZOMG, you touched my assets, let me blush like a ripe tomatoe!"-moment.

It's much more of a "OMG, I fell asleep on you!?" issue than where she's touching her...

Same difference, really. My point is that this comic could be pretty good if it weren't for pointless innuendos like this forced into 99% of the pages.
Then again, it wouldn't be making over 4000$ a month if it weren't for that.

It's always been chock full of fanservice because it was inspired by anime and manga, which are also chock full of fanservice.

That's a pretty narrow view of anime and manga, and not really an explanation, either.

Twokinds, on the other hand, has always been all for lewd comedy right from the start. It didn't "devolve", that's where it's always been at. I think it has its place in its own niche; for its genre Twokinds has plenty of character depth and serious plot to balance out the fanservice and silliness. If you're not into it, that's fine, but don't try to insist that it used to be somehow different.
