    well i guess Whinry could technically be considered a sister, but she is older that ed (i think, please someone correct me i feel like i'm fucking up so bad) so she wouldn't be calling him nee-san, but i think they knew each other long enough and are good enough friends, the little girl whose dad was the chimara scientist did looked up to Al because he played with her most of the time, but then she got turned into a chimera with the dog, i cant really think of anyone else that would say that, ether that or he was just saying that because "ANIME, WHY NOT!?!?"
