Huh? Both posts have the same source, which is correct, and both versions are identical. Only difference is that the other one is a repost, or am I missing something?

If file is altered in any way, it's hash changes. So if hash is differend, that means that the file has been changed in some way between source and upload to here.
With tumblr, sample sizes are always altered from original by tumblr, so hash is differend compared to artists originally uploaded file.

You can check this yourself. Tumblr direct image URL has MD5 hash of initial upload as part of URL. howto:sites_and_sources#tumblr

Don't get why sites insist on repackaging files that don't go over filesize or dimension limits, 'Cause the only thing different here is metadata. I guess they want conformance/compatibility control or something, it probably becomes quite important when you go up in scale.
