  • Oh wow, Celestia actually stood up to a villain herself and won? That would be a first in the show (if you don't count Daybreaker, who was merely a dream character).

"won" I'd call it "barely manage to force the opponent into a strategical retreat"

With that power she may bring huge devastation.
She kinda was half-Daybreaker herself in that magic shot panel on other page, her mane and tail turned to fire. I guess, that represent how enraged she was.

The only explanation there may be that she's like Jedis - got huge power and will _not_ to use it at every occasion.

  • I'm honestly curious whether everything's gone greyscale (with a handful of notable exceptions) for a reason, or if it's a stylistic choice given the gravitas of what's going on.

Apparently, it saves Pencils time and money to go greyscale... besides the headcanon that colour represents magic.

  • Yeah....I doubt it's that simple. If she actually had the power to kill him, then she'd not have gotten caught up in his lust magic.
Now, a year later, I know who Eros is. Eros is the name that gave us the word Erotic. Basically, he's the god of everything sensual, and sexual. He's NOT a god of love, but of lust.

It's like living in a world of cardboard...
