The last boss wasn't really much of a boss, mostly like the "Protect Kratos' family from Kratos clones" part of God of War, but the reason the main creature didn't stand a chance is explained by the Mask early in the game:

"You give me blood, I give you strength, I make you stronger. Understand? Gooooood..."

And the mask and Rick had been soaking in blood since their battles began... and after slashing and ripping apart all those fresh bodies attacking Jen, Rick and the Mask had enough power to potentially take on Cthulhu.

No way man! Cthulhu has a power level of over 9000 thaums, no way some dude in a blood mask could beat that, AND he has Aquaman and the leviathan backing him up.

But seriously, you find out that the Mask IS one of the Elder ones and had been "picked on" and enslaved by them. He escaped into the human world and bound with Rick with the sole purpose of cock-blocking one of the Great Old Ones, and you even find out that he made you go through time and space to perform the sacrifices needed to let them out of the Abyss. Of course, while doing that, the mask and Rick end up so insanely over powered that he succeeds in literally sending the Great Old One back to the Abyss.

I'm not a fan of MLP but i love Splatterhouse, and the design for the terror mask taken over Spike is great!

The thumbnail reminded me of a flashgame called "Dad'n'Me" and I thought "no way someone actually drew something about this random obscure flashgame that was kinda somewhat popular over a decade ago" and turns out I was right. lol

Still can't see this picture without thinking of Dane, lol. Shoutout to the lad, he's frickin' everywhere

By the way this is a nice horror platformer game.
