Why was the other one marked as duplicate or inferior version? This one is not in a better quality.

Yes it is. The original one, posted at Patreon, was 1600x800 res. This one, from DeviantArt, is 2400x1200. Click at Full Size to see the difference.

    and MEW!

If I lived in that universe, I'd marry a Keidran, and have a spell made that bound our lives together so that she would be able to have the same life span as me.

    RIP your lifespan then...

It's really the under-noted tragedy of Twokinds. Both of the main relationships are doomed to a fairly short lifespan.

She would have my life span, not the other way around. And agreed. Like Flora is actually approaching middle age.

Keidran infants are feral? That's interesting.

Feral keidran inuniverse are the ones that undergo psychological trauma. You now how it takes humans over a year to get help at the very least? If a keidran isn't completely healed in one day, they stay that way, like a feral ghoul in fallout. In fact it's the second keidran to make an appearance.

indeed...compared to it I feel like an immortal...

Imagine if we really did have another sentient race like that on earth. And we actually got along, could you imagine your family being friends with a family of let’s just say another Kiedrian family, and literally as you get to where you’re considered an adult probably your child hood friend is looking at death soon and their parents have died years ago, and they already have children? I’d feel a little unnatural too, makes me wonder if why most kiedrians hate humans is because they think we’re really are monsters... and honestly with what’s going on in two kinds I can get that.

Actually I had a friend like that. A lot of friends. Happens when most of your friends are medically fragile, old, suicidal, ill, or not human.

When you realize that the humans (with their greater mastery of magic and MUCH longer life spans) are the "elves" in the story.

Keidran short life spans sadden me.

Tom needs to fix that somehow he can pull some magical bullshit out of his ass for all i care! If the webcomic end with a downer/bittersweet ending im going to be pissed. I can forgive not getting my Kickstarter rewards (except the books a year late) but only if he somehow undoes this lifespan shit.

What’s interesting to me is that Keidran life spans are close to the real-life creatures they represent. I think it’s kinda cool that Tom made that apply to his fantasy race as well.

If you don't count the one in Trace's vision/memory it's Sythe who is the second keidran that we see
