Throwback to those am/fm Sony Walkman cassette players. Friggin' things were tanks. Bought one just for the sheer novelty of it.

I had the Nickelodeon one when I was a kid, no reverse, had to take it out flip the tape around, fast forward, take it out flip it back around so I could listen to the same song again.

I'm not that "old" and I'm totally not a hipster *sips Latte*, but I remember that stuff. I bought it because I've never owned one before. Heck, I've never played Castlvania SOTN or MGS 1 on disc until last week.

Mine was a Sony Walkman. Bought it brand new along with my first album that I ever owned (Metallica, and justice for all)

Ok Walkmans are one of the best things to listen to your tapes on the go.
But when it comes to the livingroom Hi-Fi nothing quite compares with a proper cassette deck!
