April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

MemberThe problem is that Tom first posts these at Patreon and then a day or two later reposts them at DeviantArt, occasionally at higher res.
And now the problem apparently is that Patreon automatically upscales the pictures somehow if you don't download them just right, and some mod here is whacking them down with extreme prejudice -- I can't even tell if it's a high res picture or an upscale most of the time!

Dem stimme ich zu. Das nervt. Vor allem weil User oft genug nicht dazu schreiben was anders ist.
This is not the only problem. There are users who upload a larger version within one day and this is not the fault of another website. A problem is that every user wants to be the first to upload the picture to feel great with it. There are certainly also users who want to make themselves thereby with e621 important to get a rank, or a positive evaluation.
Another problem is added, because by the whole deletions, which must be made, the admins have less time for important things.

Das ist aber nicht das einzige Problem. Es gibt User welche innerhalb von einem Tag eine größere Version hochladen und das ist nicht die Schuld einer anderen Internetseite. Ein Problem ist das jeder User der Erste sein will der das Bild hochladen tut um sich damit toll zu fühlen. Es gibt sicher auch User welche Sich selbst damit bei e621 wichtig machen wollen, um einen Rang zu bekommen, oder eine Positive Bewertung.
Ein weiteres Problem kommt hinzu, da durch die Ganzen Löschungen, welche gemacht werden müssen, haben die Admins weniger Zeit für wichtige dinge.
