News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    What's really sad is the game tends to be more of the latter than the former. From what I've seen.

    Why couldn't it have been written more like freaking Blinx 2 where you get to see the Main Character of the franchise through cutscenes and only play as a member that is doing smaller things that build up to bigger things.

    Solid game...but the problem is that being merely a solid game isn't really cutting it. And that's being generous if you want to be honest about it.

    I get it might have been a trial period but...even if it's a trial period wouldn't doing it from this perspective have been BETTER?

    And another thing: why on earth is there no multiplayer?! Like...you'd have expected this game to have a competitive race for each of the partner levels. Or at least cooperative!

    Sorry...didn't intend to rant about the game. But I did want to get my thoughts out on it.

    The Ass Kissening

    Honestly the worst parts regarding forces is the constant ass kissing of your main character and how sonic was handled in general. I get told the japanese script was better, yet even looking at the raw cutscenes with the japanese diologue isn't exactly much better. It makes sense but it's still rather boring and trying way too hard to be edgy. Here's how I would have handled the game if I were writing it.

    The Phantom Ruby can do Anything! Except it Can't! But Kinda! Trust us on this one.

    For the love of god, either use the Chaos emeralds again or do not write yourself in 5 different fucking corners with a super magical god gem. The phantom ruby literally puts the writers in several corners that they had to bullshit out of by raising lot more questions than actually answer anything about how it works. From what IS explained it actually seems like one chaos emerald can do a lot more to reality than the phantom ruby itself, because either everything that happens in it is a virtual world, that's real, or it isn't real, or I don't know.

    The Tale of Two Sonics

    Classic Sonic had a fun comeback the first time around but you already had him doing his own thing. The direct result of a non consensual thrusting of Mania into Sonic Force's Plot with a phantom ruby that can apparently actually do stuff is not the smartest idea, especially when the basic controls for him have been fucked this hard while mania plays like a dreamcast. Remove him from the plot, Remove him from the game. That simple.

    Within our Infinite Wisdom

    I honest to god thought Infinite was some innocent kid kidnapped and tortured by Dr. Eggman with the phantom ruby integrated into his chest rather painfully. Going with the experiment idea helps with the edgy dialogue and gives it a place, if a painfully generic one that helps the self parody angle. Instead what we got was Shadow stating "sit down, bitch I got this" and getting the shit kicked out of him and crying like a child because he totally super isn't weak guys.

    I could go into a lot more detail but this is the comments section, not a god damned essay.
