Yes, but that is deemed inferior to this one because it is an artificial upscale. I don't know why there are artificial upscales (from Patreon, even), but that's why the old one is deleted.

I think they do it because they want to be credited as the uploader of an image that's already on the site, even though all they are doing is messing up the website and ultimately causing artists' drawings to be deleted. They are basically exploiting a loophole and hoping they don't get caught.

I'm not sure. It looks to me like a single mod's on a rampage through Pateron-sourced pictures and deleting everything that may have been touched by the Pateron's automatic upscale algorithm.

It's getting pretty annoying just finding and restoring stuff from one artist, so I really hope that they'd just set up a grandfather clause for the ones already uploaded to avoid extra annoyance. It's not like people deliberately posted upscales in the first place.

Okay, like... I understand the general principle of "would be nice to have the best quality version of anything", but where we are now is a disorganized mess. Ugh.
