  • Gilda needs to turn Billy into a freaking gelding.

I'm disgusted the writer had her being intimate with him at all.

Everybody makes mistakes. Teenagers make a lot of them when it comes to dating.

I'm not gonna deny either of those... the problem comes with, even in this storyline, Gilda has zero reason to like him. Gilda was instantly harassed by him when she joined the junior speedsters (an episode that aired before the writer made the subject of gilda and billy being intimate) and those guys NEVER got better about it.

I just can't quite comprehend the mental pathway that was taken where Gilda, the more dangerous of some of the ladies, is laying with a guy who... has done nothing but abuse her since she showed up and is continuing to do so and she is SURPRISED he's trying to backstab dash?

Sometimes people with dominant personalities pair up with somebody who dominates them in a relationship (through pressure, harassment etc.)
Would need to dig through a few of my books to give an explanation for the reasons of such behaviour (was a while ago since I read about this)

I literally just spent three and a half hours reading through every page of this comic (including Red Sorena). It's not often I find a comic that's interesting enough to force me to do that, I'm just annoyed I didn't find it sooner haha

Welcome to the club. I too love this comic, it's one of my absolute favorites. Pages take a long time to come out, but every page is worth it.

    Backstab how?
He's never made secret his dislike of her, and Firefly *did* break the rules in a massive way that could've gotten people hurt.

Hell, if you really want to reach for connections, if Firefly hadn't crashed the prom, Derpy wouldn't have gotten teen-pregnant. And because she wouldn't have gotten pregnant, there would've been no ditching of Gilda's party. Firefly wouldn't be getting threatened here, with something completely valid. Gilda may or may not have broken up with Billy when he had to swallow his pride when Dash shows up to the "Not Enemies Anymore" party depending on his reaction.

So, because Firefly decided to ruin everyone else's night because her friends were having a bad time, Derpy's life is ruined and so is hers if she were caught. Everything past the prom that has gone wrong, can be traced back to her stupid choice.
