  • Hm I actually wonder if it's possible to knit a hat using electric wiring instead of yarn. A similar thing is done with fine copper wire for stuff such as jewelry it could be possible.

    As long as the wire selected is malleable enough. If it isn't, it'll work harden very quickly and you'll have multiple breaks in the fabric. A good choice would be annealed aluminum or dead soft stranded copper.
