Trust me, a (relatively) small company like BD has a lot to lose if this goes under. It's best to take precautions.

Even South Park occasionally changes the names of stores and products they parody. At the end of the day, it's always better to be safe than sorry.

As someone who's spent more money than he probably should on Bad Dragon toys, I can say they are definitely worth the price. Don't confuse "expensive" with "overpriced"-- they're a small-time company that uses high-quality material, hence the high overhead. They brought their prices down on a lot of toys last month, including a 40$ price drop on all penetrables. As they build an audience, they'll be able to lower prices.

TL;DR-- Bad Dragon's great.

The Simpsons *actually* did this in one episode (though they credited him as John Jay Smith and named the character Leon Kompowsky). i also wouldn't call them "small" anymore. I believe they are the leaders of their market ATM. Tantus is prob the biggest Silicone company out there but their produces arn't that great from my experiences.

No, the mods were more fatigued that you were trying to collect our comments on the comics like as if we were harassing you, the mods wouldn't take it and you have reports on it (which have also magically disappeared too, that being the comments and not the infractions), so the next logical step was just to delete the comics forthright. The way I see it, it's more like they wanted to try making a plot without giving it too much thought. This way, if it works, that's great, and if it doesn't, "it's just porn".

I could be wrong, maybe the plot was meant to be goofy and chaotic, but that definitely doesn't do their comics any good. It's not goofy enough to be fun, but it's goofy enough not to be taken seriously.
As many people have been saying, A Lesson Learnt is what one would be looking for as far as plot goes. It's simple, it serves its purpose, there are no plot holes because the story is centered around something very simple with no plot-twists. As for SotS, it's like they wanted to generate some hype with every page, making us wonder what this character will become, why this one is behaving that way, how the villain will be defeated, only to let everything down at the end and rushing the ending, using "the comic already reached 70 pages and we had to end it" as an excuse. I mean, if you want to have a story in your comics, you plan ahead. And by "ahead" I mean the whole thing, not some general ideas for the next two pages.

Of course, everything would be much simpler if they took the advice people have been giving them here, as harsh as they may be. You don't help someone improve by saying "it's great, I love it". Of course, we all like knowing people love what we do, but with only "keep up the good work" you never improve. If I'm going to keep making content, I like to have at least a few "this is bad, this is better, this should have been made that way, etc". And there were such comments among all the salt.

Me bringing Trump into the discusion was not meant to be taken seriously(OBVIOUSLY). As for people being dead, those who get treated poorly for what they love to do often question themselves and causes stress and depression. Too a strong minded person, they just push past it but to weak minds, stuff like this often leads to suicide or very serious cases of depression. Im sure jason and kab dont fit in this catergory but just keep in mind that words sometimes do hurt more than sticks and stones. Everybody has an opinion but it is never ok to make another person feel bad unless they truly deserve it and based on the fact people are arguing about porn, I dont think this hate is deserved.

The hate over porn and a dildo I do agree on being overkill at times but, certain things did happen as well as said that caused people to get angry at them and it got worse due to poor damage control and this happened many times. Not saying they deserve all the negativity but they put themselves into this position inadvertently.

There are some, but they're very rare. That's what happens when an overrated artist turns out to be a douchebag : he'll attract only those who think of him as a god, and those who would like to watch him going down.
I'm thinking people who would find his and Kabier's art nice (but not great) would quickly get bored and turn their attention to other people. I mean, there are tons of more talented people out there, so why bother with this one in particular ?

As for me, I hate the guy, I find his animations cringy but decent enough to be popular, I think he's stealing the fame from the original artworks he animates (by that, I mean that if you think the art is awesome and J animates it, you'll still think it's awesome and hey, even better, it's animated. But you would actually be liking the original, non-animated picture. Kind of like when you love an AMV because the music is great, thus you don't pay attention to how good the AMV itself really is), I find Kabier's art okay but that's it, and while I have no particular interest in seeing Jason go down, I'd enjoy him being taught humility the hard way.

About a month and a half later, now, I explore Jasonafex's amazing art and well what do I know, it is Vergence! X3 I also thought Vergence was a derg, not a featherless raptor. I don't care, scalies are amazing! :D Dexter, Vergence, is also the next BD toy I plan on buying. Woot!

I have no particular qualms against Jason; I just think his dildo is boring and BD made a serious mistake associating with him.

I was scared at first that BD was moving away from the furry fandom but this does make sense because there is a growing "normie" customer base and BD is trying to appeal to us both and for the most part it is working. They changed their old website which was getting outdated and they put more focus on their beautiful color combos and varying shapes and sizes of toys. I bought a "dexter"/vergance/whatever" toy (was a flop for $20 off so i had to jump on it) and I gotta tell you it is in no way boring! It's a thicc toy that I can't even knot yet and its a medium. The design isn't all that unique but it makes up for it in thickness and proportions and the color tops it off. I don't work for BD i'm just a fanboi but a thing you got to remember is different strokes for different folks and just because it's not amusing to you doesn't mean that someone else wont enjoy it. Also what's wrong with them doing a deal to make dildo's inspired by someones fursona? The bd labs were full of dildos from fursonas and if BD throws a little bit of coin the artists' way how exactly is that bad? BD has already done dildos that are basically the characters from zootopia and also dildos inspired by fallout and a couple from mlp so why knot just make a few based on furry characters? I've been thinking about ordering a canine toy colored the same as artica sparkle just because I think it would be cute.

Based on what, a vocal minority? The overwhelming majority love our content. We have no pressure to mix up our formula.

If I generate this much of a ruckus with apparently low effort, then I'm doing pretty well. If your saying what I make is easy, then how-come others have so much trouble meeting similar success? By that logic, I should be drowning in a sea of more committed animators, creators and writers.
