Lovrina now looks like a peach or a pear from here. potato? idk just making guesses till I decide to go to the next page.

Gourgeist, one of the Kalos Pokemon. A ghost/grass based off a Jack 'o lantern which actually has that pink hair natively, which proooobably influenced the decision.

Why did they all turn into pokemon?

The PMD setting has had humans show up before, but they always turn into Pokemon for various reasons. As this comic tells it, it's because the region is sacrosanct to humans but sometimes they need to come in to solve a problem.

Plus, as state in this comic, it needs a power from the original one (arceus) or from one of the firstborn (in this case Hoopa) for a human to be transfered there as a pokemon

Plus, I'm sure that Hoopa just thought that I'd be funny!

Hoopa is acting as its origins entailed. Djin always twist wishes asked of them. You have to be very specific in your wording to get what you want. Also yes, it would definitely think this is hilarious.

  • OH. HELL. YES.

For much of the comic, I've been thinking, gosh, N has been such a stand-up guy, a good friend to Mewtwo and Pokemon-kind in general... wouldn't it be nice/fitting if he were to somehow become a Pokemon via the usual PMD mechanic? Like, if anyone deserved it, it would be him.

And now, that has come to pass. With Wes thrown in as a bonus! Figures that we've been having too much fun in PMD-land for these two not to get sucked in.

Guys, don't think of it as Hoopa having tricked you. Think of it as him showing his gratitude (in the most awkward, genie-like way possible) for all the work you've done on behalf of Pokemon everywhere ^_^

I am so incredibly tickled by this turn of events. This is gonna be fun.

Ehh, I don't think it was so much twisting the "wish," because (presumably) it would have been impossible for N et al. to go to Mewtwo's location while remaining in human form. But Hoopa certainly omitted mentioning that this would happen, and not out of forgetfulness.

(Kind of hoping he'll be no worse than Chaotic Neutral when all is said and done...)

  • I like the detail of N being a Zoroark here. Fits well with the long-standing theory that the reason N can understand pokemon in the games, is that he actually is a Zoroark.
