Okay. Now that you've calmed down a bit... Let me share a story with you.

Back when I was a puppy, I was (and still am!) a girl. I dress in girl clothes, have girl hair and all this good stuff. One day, on the playground, there I was, playing with my girl toys in the sand around me that I had designated girl space. A boy asked to play with me. His friend with him, looked HORRIFIED. His responce was "EW, GIRLS!" and he ran away. The boy, after a moment where in he'd realized he'd made a terrible faux pax, took off running after his friend.

I was devistated, and hurt deeply. for about 10 minutes, and another 10 minutes later that night when I recounted the tale to my mother.

It was, after all, a pretty silly thing to get upset over. There are much worse things in life. Like violence against children, women and men. Like racism. Like people who get so angry about who another person wants to sleep with, that they go out and beat other people to death. There are people out there who do not have food, or water, who are afraid to voice thoughts for fear of being killed. There are places where walking alone could mean death.

In comparison to all this... "ew gay" seems pretty damn minor, doesn't it?

Don't take everything so personally.
Don't take everything so seriously.
Don't take everything as a personal attack.
Don't let random comments on the internet 'really fucking hurt you'.

If things hurt that badly, then stop. Back off. Take a deep breath. hold it. and let it out. it's only words. it's only the internet.
