The end was cute. But I wish there were more frames while the dog is dancing.

It's meant to be that way, it's inspired by another animation.

  • @DelurC, you should take youtubes own WebM file instead of re-encoding already re-encoded MP4 version.
VP9/Opus version I get from youtube is of higher quality and also under half the filesize of this.

Please be sure to verify it's actually taking the actual webm and not the mp4 and having some conversion option.

scotch's one is also a copy

Both of them are inspired by little ruby rue's interpretation of the meme involving inklings; the original meme was very simple and silly with hardly any animation frames, whereas ruby rue set up a "base" for future vids involving the meme, really.

All in all, it's memes, and people get inspired by one another in that kind of content.

Edit: Scratch that, scotch actually started the base for the animation and little ruby rue was inspired by scotch. So yeah, I think in this case scotch created the base of the meme itself.

So, no, scotch's wasn't really a copy and more creating something new using the very bare bones basis of the original, very simplistic animations and creating moves that other versions of the meme go on to reference/copy. So yeah, this one is actually directly inspired by scotch; they're about right.

Have you actually checked Scotch's video? Doesn't seem like.
He got inspired by THIS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLBouiQ6V7w
    And the ORIGINAL (yes): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIkVr7M458c

I've seen the meme; they are vastly different when compared to scotch's. if anything scotch popularized the meme; the dance moves are pretty much word for word stock copied from the scotch variety more than anything

Those two vids "inspired" scotch, I am not denying that, but the base standard of the base (aka the one that ppl most copy/imitate) is scotch's version
