  • Since it's apparently just a leeeetle too long to post under "edit reason," I'mma' put it here:

Sure you can use the humanoid tag for non-human traits. Apart from elves and dwarves and the like, that's the entire POINT of the humanoid tag. It means "human, except with a small number of non-human traits." Like a neko, for example. Human, but with cat ears and tail. But both of the Pokemorphs in the picture above have TOO MANY non-human traits to count as humanoid. The only human traits they display are the shapes of their bodies. That's textbook anthro.

anthro, on this site, requires animal traits on the characters in order to be tagged. I quote: "But as this describes most non-human characters on e621 and intelligence can be difficult to tag, the anthro tag is specifically used only for animal-like 'furry' characters."

Humanoid, in contrast, requires creatures that look like humans, but with little to no animal traits. "Non-human creatures that resemble humans, with minimal or no animal features. This includes, but is not limited to... Humanlike Pokémon, such as Jynx, Gardevoir, and Meloetta."

Ergo, these creatures are humanoid, not anthro.
