JanitorSome guys are just plain oblivious until they meet the right gal. They're not dumb; they're just not tuned in to other gals and their interest.

MemberRagdoll needs to bang Angie. Like, right now.

MemberI vaguely remember someone saying she's thicc and he's thick...

MemberI want to be annoyed at him for being so oblivious but honestly I can't because I'm no less oblivious. Though to be fair, I've got reasons.
Anyway, at this rate Angie is going to end up giving him a blowjob or something, and he'll be like "she said it was platonic though so I still don't think she's into me."

MemberSo let me paint a picture for lots of you; Ragdoll is NOT wrong here.
How? Simple, she can simply be kind for the moment and now that she knows him, that's it. She'll never talk to him again and move on.
This does happen.
Ragdoll is obviously not stupid, but he's not willing to believe she's flirting with him because she has made THE BIGGEST mistake;
She hasn't SAID she likes him.
Guys can get hurt and guys can be pessimistic. "There is no way she'd flirt with me." and "She just bullies me, so what if she was nice one time?"
You very quickly learn life isn't like your anime romances and just because someone had a conversation with you or hugged/kissed you, it doesn't mean anything beyond that.
Even with the friends backing him up, he won't listen to them because she hasn't done what she needs to if she actually is interested in him.

JanitorNever said he was. I had a somewhat similar experience myself back in high school. The main differences being that I had no interest in her and that my friends weren't trying to play matchmaker.
That's not her biggest mistake, although it is a big one. Her biggest mistake was bullying him in the first place. It's hard to trust a bully, after all.
Of course. I never trusted the girl I mentioned above because she'd been a bully in previous years. I still believe she was only trying to set me up for more bullying.
I'm not a fan of either anime or romance. If Ragdoll ends up rejecting Angie, I would be pleased, actually.
Even if she does, that's no guarantee he'll listen either. After all, she's bullied him before so why should he believe she'll change if they go out together? He could find himself stuck in an abusive relationship.
