Behold, The Fluttering.
Painting done for Patreon this month. The sketch is from August, just when fall was on the verge of ramping up here (its all just blops of snow now).
Lyssiah and Cinders walking the paths and outskirt fields adjacent to the towns and homes of the Aegencald. Mid-Autumn, just as the sky is turning to evening, when suddenly Behold! The glowing butterfly messenger! She brings tidings of fluttering and lightly sitting on things.
They're called 'nightlights' by the locals. The divinity of the lands offering radiance.
The nightlight was later named Elizabetta Weebleflutters, Countess of Boopsford.
