For the Motherland...

Those who have read A Gift Given will recognize the character in this commission- it's Tavia the Russian husky :)! This pic is actually a not-so-surprise birthday gift from mikase's buddy and room mate, sarsis .

They were looking for an image that resembled a Russian propoganda poster from WW2, featuring Tavia. And here's the final result of that commission :3.

Tavia belongs to her player. You can view progress notes here:

  • I like how those are Supermarine Spitfires in the background... A very nice British dogfighter, not Russian and never used by Russians. Also, lulz at the Mosin-Nagant carbine for a sniper, they would usually use the 1891 1/30 or the original, not some short barreled carbine. :/ Remember people, always critique your artists, everyone has room for IMPROVEMENT. Nice picture though, appreciate the remembrance of the women snipers back in WWII for Russia.

wondering why "communism" isn't a tag for this.

Because sometimes old posts didn't get tagged properly, and/or the tag didn't exist yet. If you come across something missing a Tag you think is obvious, especially if it is from several years ago, add the tag.

This is literally the first time I've used this account to dislike or comment.
All I have to say is...

We know that. Anthros don't exist IRL and never did. Also Tavia's a husky. Did I forget to mention that this is a primarily furry website?

Pretty sure that was a joke about how the person they were replying to was being nitpicky with historical accuracy
