Gold and silver D&D based dragons can polymorph self 3/day, therefore are natural shapeshifters... don't need opposable thumbs in dragonform... just shift to a humanoid form, most likely elf, and write that way... lol

Gold dragons suck if they try to kill you. I was in a party with a bunch of idiots and we came across this beggar that had six golden flies buzzing around his head. He asked for a copper coin and our fighter decided to kill the beggar to "put him out of his misery." Turns out that beggar was actually a platinum dragon and the 6 flies were golden dragons. We didn't even last one combat round.

Yea, fight Paladine/Fizban, ka Bahamut's analog in DragonLance setting. Great idea!
