MemberThis is of a scene during The Siege of Alexandria (49 BCE or smth) where Cleopatra hides herself in a laundry bag and is carried by a huge hulking man, Apollodoras, from the royal harbor through the royal quarter and right into Ceaser's private quarters.
The man is supposedly Greek and speaks with a Latin accent. Ceaser is so impressed with Cleopatra that they immediately start "talking tactics and politics" (they banged).
The story is maybe apocryphal, later made up by Ceaser or Cleopatra as a piece of propoganda.
The last panel depicts the certainly-did-happen trip up the Nile after Cleopatra retakes control of the Egyptian government. Though I personally prefer this version of events.

MemberShe was dressed as cleopatra, who famously rolled herself into a carpet and sent it to Julius Caesar as a gift. Which is what this is based off I believe. Julius Ceasars was Roman wasn't he?
