Tiny pointless rebellion against a misconceived notion. Are you trying to re-enact the 1848 French Revolution?

it's too bad the admins are rather stupid in so many ways. going through, I noticed one such of these imbeciles claims that they can't be tagged for their gender ques (i.e. the males having longer snouts and no hair on the end of their tails) because these rules were introduced in the comic after some yinglet had appeared, despite them having their gender ques made apparent from the first few pages AND having them identified very quickly. let's not forget the first field guild page that revealed the gender difference was made roughly 3 years ago while the first bit of fan art is only 2 years old, thus the gender qeus were made out and set in stone before the first bit of fan made content was released and posted to this site. in short: the admins are fucking stupid and can't do even the SLIGHTEST bit of research, instead just crying "it looks like a chick, there for it is!" way to go admins, way to go. but, hey, they got the power right? they can denote the gender of the species they had absolutely no hand in creating whatsoever because they are the power. so lovely. and just wait, gonna get slapped with that 'tag what you see' shit, since it seems to be their only defense to this. fine then, I see a fine MALE yinglet strutting HIS fine assists to make a sale. enjoy.

The problem is well illustrated in this picture. Artists draw "males/cuntboys" with feminine hip/shoulder proportions, softer features, and feminine hairstyles (Not so much this image but still), and say it's male/cuntboy because they say so.
"Because I say so" is not enough for e621, so it leads to a lot of frustration and friction between policy and artists/fans.
Fans can be even worse than the artists sometimes too. See: mikhaila

Might as well add that the “female” is missing the tail fluff, which is similar to being flat chested but more extreme? You can be a slight fluffy tail male but not a fluffless female as far as I know. At least we have the lore tag~

Yeah, that's correct. A female could shave the tuft, I guess, but Lopin is confirmed in canon as male and also quite feminine in general

MemberAdmins don't just enforce the rules, they also make them.
It'd be great for this to show up in the list for girly male, but I guess search accuracy is less important to some people.

MemberWhat's all this drama about gender tagging?
Just post it yourself and tag it accurately if it bothers you so much.
Also, don't be a dick to a mod, because they can be dicks right back and harder.
Random
MemberHey now. Posting a thing doesn't give a user any more rights over the tagging system.
The latter is true though, yeah.

MemberThat is why i have given up on trying to contribute to this website. Particularly the cuntboy vs flat_chested_female palaver.
