    Why do all furry artists insist on festooning their characters in superfluous markings?

    Why not?

    Here here. Why can't they just be like the rest of the people with personas of anthropomorphic creatures of various different species of animal, both real and fictional, and keep their fur or hide or scales clean? Jeez!

  • To the above comments.

    If you are a furry or scalie, you should damn well be open-minded enough to not care how other people like their sonas and their preferences! Considering most who criticise us are closed-minded idiots who don't realise what we are actually like as people rather than someone to type to on the internet.

    It's a free world right up until the tax-collections.

    Just because you have the imagination of plankton, doesn't mean we all have to follow suit. ;)

    also why is it, that the people that make these strange sparkledogs then complain about reptiles and birds with "unnatural" bits?

    SO. FUCKING. CUTE. It's too much for me! *sniffles* I wanna boyfriend to do that with, but my homophobic family would never approve. ;-;

    Don't let them tell you how to live your life. They are not you, and if they think that they know what's better for you than you do then they don't deserve your attention.

    I know right? Especially with markings that are so obviously *not* found in nature. Tribal-esque or stylistic stripes and spots are unimaginative attempts to be "original".

    It's shows the differences from others of their species to show what character they are.

    I guessing it does, and the shaw-fujikawa slipspace drive is from the halo universe. It's a FTL engine

    So, does anyone know what happened to Adjot? He just sort of disappeared.

    Losing his mate (for whom he drew a crapton of high quality pictures for free) seemed to affect him poorly.

    he still draws, a lot. he goes by snowskau now. evidence is nearly identical art styles, plus last FA post of adjot was may 23 2012, first post of snowskau early june 21 2012 - only a month apart.

    this is most likely why. it's not uncommon for an artist to change their alias for which they were known, especially if it was associated with the partner they left (which, according to williamca, adjot is the one who did the dumping).
