MemberIt would probably be more effective for sapient ferals to use magic-based attacks while using teeth and fangs as a natural weapon when it's safe to. That's assuming we're not looking at a druid or other creature with changeling-type abilities.

MemberThat's dependent on how difficult (or even possible) it would be to learn magic in the setting. Even then, having at least a passing idea how to hold and use weaponry in a pinch doesn't seems like the worst thing to study up on.
