Being a Dark Souls Dork, this pic makes me very sad. It's really well done though.

Knight Artorias the Wolf, and yes i call him "the Wolf" and not "the Abysswalker" because he failed in his quest to defeat Manus, a quest that the Chosen undead completed, deserved better imo. this was a guy who had a pet Great Wolf, worked REALLY hard as one of the Four Knights of Gwyn, and i'm fairly certain he had a relationship with Lord's Blade Ciaren the Bee, the female Knight of Gwyn. his legend gets confused with the Chosen undead as Artorias was corrupted by the abyss and had to be put down... can't help but feel sorry for the poor bastard.

but to he how ever deserves to be remembered even if the stories are muddled beyong telling if the chosen did it or him. what we can how ever agree to is the man was loyal to both king (even if personally i wish gwyn was not such a wimp and a maybe even lightly greedy king) and companion chosing to sacrifice him self to do so.
