Are you sure that's a wakizashi? It looks awfully long for that, as do the handle, looks more like a general katana, or even an o katana or nodachi (no expert please don't kill me).

Oh, that would make so much more sense, I guess that's what I get for being blind. Though I actually learnt something from my mistake, this "daisho" setup is supposedly the real deal for a samurai.

You were actually right. The Kensei in game uses the nodachi.
