Yeah, Doug Winger. Furry artist from the 90s and 00s super well known for herms, inflation, and Dad-level puns and jokes. Pretty much anyone who knew furry art in the 2000s had seen at least some of his art. He died in 2015 from complications as a result of COPD.

Yep. Like I said, complications of COPD. He was in a bad spot for like a year or two before he died; he basically had to retire from everything because his COPD was so advanced, he wasn't in any space mentally or physically to do art, and he basically had no living relatives near him. His good friend and his sister had to step in and make the decision to take him off life support once he was admitted to a hospital and the doctor told them he likely wouldn't live the week.
