Zen: (In Keidran) Thank you.

Kathrin: (In Keidran) Raine and the others are the ones you should be thanking. Their magic is dulling the pain. I’m just… well, to be honest, with my sewing room sunk, I’m just trying to stay useful.

Zen: (In Keidran) You have been. I didn’t just mean for this. I wanted to thank you for helping Natani.

Zen: (In Keidran) Ever since our folks died… I’ve tried to be the brother dad told me to be. But I just… I don’t know. I keep screwing up. Our minds are joined again, but… Natani almost seems better for having been apart from me.

Zen: (In Keidran) I think it’s helped, having other people to open up to for once. Especially regarding… You know… the girl side of things. The “girl talk.”

Zen: (In Keidran) Not exactly something I was qualified for. So… you have my thanks. I’m glad Natani found friends to lean on when… you know, I get my leg burnt off and can’t be leaned on.

    What is he supposed to be thanking her for exactly?
    She's done nothing for him by her own words and the only talk she gave natani was after strong-arming her into talking about something she didn't want and giving her shitty advice about topics she knows nothing about thanks to her own zero world experience

    Despite the strong-arming Natani still felt better and more comfortable with her body and thanked her after the conversation ended. Zen is thanking her for showing Natani that she can open up to other people and helping her grow as a person. He admits that she's almost better off since the link got cut.

    Reflecting back on the story line, Zen and Natani....

    I wonder if we are seeing the final removal of this link and Natani having mutually exclusive thinking?

    Which is total nonsense to attribute to kat when she also had a much more meaningful talk with actual strong female character king Adelaide(tm) and the lessons shes learning post coma and her subconscious helped her realize are all things Adelaide told her, not the nonsense kat said
