I absolutely hate it. I support artists drawing what they want and I also understand limitations set by commissioners when a piece is commissioined, but Adam's been drawing /so/ much of this shit that I honestly think he's a bit fucked up in the head, like borderline manic depressive personality disorder shit. It's like he's making a point to intentionally try and dethrone the idea of a happy couple or disregard innocence and use it as leverage for smut.

I always come back to his work because it's beautiful and the years behind it shine, but for the love of god I hope he's okay or that he gets the help he needs. Art really is to see through the eyes of another human.

After hearing more about his personal life I actually think that you maybe be a bit wrong about the "mentally fucked" part. At least in terms of turning loneliness into a fetish (which cuckoldry isn't always about but it is one of the roots I believe.)

From what I've been hearing about his interactions with women in the fandom I think Zaush may actually have a big fetish for being the bull in the cuckold situation. As someone who suffered an intense and messed up breakup, I can tell you that you are absolutely spot-on. It coalesces into brief but potent bouts of jealousy and sharp desires to take someone else's significant other for the sole purpose of hurting other people, in lieu of hurting whoever hurt me first- to gain something brief and meaningless while causing someone to lose something significant.

But that's the non-healthy portion of it. As a fetish it's fine, moreso when it's closer to partner-sharing than full-on heartbreaking; but even when it's coarse and hurtful I can fully understand out it appeals to a domineering mindset.

I kinda assumed the kid's the woman's son.

I love this kind of fetish, but remember it's only a picture!
