I'm honestly wondering if this isn't possibly a cyborg, if you look carefully, you can see the individuals tongue and it looks oddly flesh-toned. Sooo... Andriod or Cyborg? Because "Robot Lady" could imply a number of possibilities. From Andriod, to Cyborg to Synth-life.

Life itself and "living organisms" are adaptive and evolving existence. You omit how Murphy DOES eventually get over his lose/injuries. The same as any amputees do or someone that's had a transplanted organ or the like.
The drive to exist and persist, is an amazing and terrifying engine.

Shunting out the negative comments, this does seem a bit like an innocent one, here. Although... Yeah, maybe that sounds a bit weird to say, but if anything, I think overall the image itself is good in quality, and by good I mean GOOD good.
