I grew up in a rural area where our nearest town had about 6,000 people. I'm embarrassed to admit McDonald's parking lot was the big hangout, only because we didn't have a Walmart.

They could at least have gone to Taco Bell. McDonald's lost the Franchise Wars, after all...
