While a .38 and .357 are similar, the key word you used was ALMOST, because there still is a caliber difference. The revolver shown is a Python, which was mostly chambered for .357 but a small batch was made for .38, so the gun shown could be either. I only wanted to point it out.

Der Reise and Town (Green Run) are the best of the best, so many perks in a perfectly sized map with the Ray gun mark 2 upgraded and in Der Reise with the PP-SH 41 and MG-42 upgraded.

A "caliber" is a measure of how fat a bullet is in the radial direction. It might as well be "inches", since that's why the dot is there. A .38-caliber gun is going to have a bullet diameter of 0.38 inches, whereas a .357 is that much of an inch.

Now, there ARE differences with the same caliber, for example the .50BMG made for the M2 machine gun, and the .500 Magnum for the revolver of the same name. Vastly different bullets, though.
