Looks like a mermaid to me...unless you want to take maid to it's root meaning of "maiden" or virgin which seems like non of our business real styles

MemberNono, see, you'll get downvoted because you're not being literal minded about the half fish/half human aspect.
Ya know, despite her being half fish/half human.
Shitsandgiggles
MemberYeah, half the time when I do get downvoted I actually cannot fathom why

MemberThat's syrens you're probably thinking about
NegaMajora
MemberNay, the sirens were a bunch of birds with the heads of women who would hypnotize sailors into crashing their ships on the rocks.
Mermaids, despite being considered to be quite beautiful, were also a species of vicious predators. This depiction has either been featured, or at the very least hinted at in several pieces of media. Such as the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, as well as the old Peter Pan movie, where the mermaids attempt to drown Wendy in their pool when she refuses to go swimming with them. That's not an exaggeration by the way, they straight up confess to the fact their intent was to drown her.
