I'm sorry. I am strictly referring to his color scheme. This is not me being mean, this is me saying the designer could do way better after learning about color theory for an hour. Balance, contrasts, and complementary colors.

Hmmm... I like the background couple on the right most.

Now I'm wondering where exactly the line is for the number of unique or unusual aspects a character design can have before it crosses into, for lack of a better term, Mary Sue territory. Y'know, when the design becomes (intentionally or not) reminiscent of those who value being unique over being well done.
I mean we have here Christmas fur fox with a blue mohawk, a scar, and a LOBSTER CLAW TAIL WITH TONGUE. I mean, I don't know how many special snowflake points that gets, but yeah, it's overloaded to say the least.
