  • You censored part of it to advertise your patreon instead of just cutting that part out?

It's crazy how this animation is so hot and yet so incredibly annoying.

  • I think I'll pay more for that machine. Gon a be honest though... I really like the animation. Its quite clean and smooth, justdidn't like how you blurr other parts out just to advertise your patreon.

He does this for like every single animation too. It's a real shame.

  • Protip: Advertising your Patreon in this matter not only makes most people LESS likely to give you money, it also discourages some bitter assholes (like me) from giving you publicity by watching your completely free content.

You have great talent and skill. Don't waste it by becoming the next Jasonafex.

  • I think that the pateron sponsorship in the middle is more than fair. I would love to see this animator getting more to support to allow them to make even better animation in the future.

  • Upvoted because quality, not fav'd because patreon censorship.
Also I think the creator/uploader went through and downvoted a bunch of negative comments.

Leave the Patreon advertisement out until the very end.

Exactly! I'm ok with the advertising, but for it to interrupt the actual animation is very, very annoying.

  • These Patreon pushes are really dividing your community. And pushing away those who can't afford to give. ='( I want Critterclaw success but not at the expense of the people. Please man, stop pushing this on us.

  • I think the whole patreon thing is absolutely fine and fair. However, there should be versions of these animations that just have the blocked scenes edited out alltogether instead of covering it up with a patreon ad.

First and foremost because it's mostly just distracting and ruins the immersion. There are plenty of other ways to make people aware of your Patreon.(video description, small ad in the corner, etc.)

only goes to further prove that the positioning of the ad was not a good idea, no one was complaining about the ad existing, just where it was placed was what the issue was, generally ads are meant to be in places that make the product look good, not add a reason to not give money. if the animator want's people to see that they have a patreon there are a lot better ways of going about it.
