A Helping Hand - Page 13

This page is a touch weak. That middle-left panel particularly amuses me- I was aiming for a sort of 'damn, this is hot' face and ended up with something a lot creepier than that, hah. I've also got some anatomy woes I'm really going to have to sort out if I want the next comic adventure to go more smoothly.

As a mildly interesting aside, that's one of the reasons this comic is as rough around the edges as it is- I kept thinking about all the things I needed to work on and would struggle with if I tried now and for a long time that kept me from even bothering, so when I finally had a surge of motivation to give this a shot I just went with it. I knew if I stopped to try and do a bunch of practice stuff first I'd just waffle around forever and never get to it. So instead of trying my hand at some small stuff or looking up a bunch of guides on making comics first I just said fuck it and jumped right in, figuring things out as I went. Now that it's done though, starting another project will be much less terrifying so I can safely take some time to improve on some of my drawing issues first without completely losing the drive to try it.

Anyway, with all that blabbing out of the way, I do some of y'all like this page despite any issues.

It's also a great way to show that you're interested in this kind of content and wanna see more. I'm taking a little time off comic material to practice up some stuff and maybe do a little commission work, but I'm pretty set on the idea of making an M/F mind control themed short comic thing, so if you're into such ideas, chipping in a little over there would definitely go a long way toward helping make that happen!
