I had no idea there even was an Original Falcomon, I always thought the one from Digimon Data Squad was the only one

A few digimon had an original version that was altered for an anime appearance for one reason or another, but Digimon being Digimon didn't ever discard an unused design, just making it a sub species.

Amusingly, several keystone digimon in various games and the anime are actually the result of fan OCs submitted from various contests where the chosen OC would be turned into a real digimon.
