Pawpad hands. Somewhat strange but i like them

Didn't watch the stream. I thought Keidran's hands don't have pawpads. Did someone suggest this?

Tom has always drawn Raine's hands with pads, but no one else. When asked, he's told that they all really have pads on their palms for better grip, but he just doesn't show it in his artstyle for most characters.

I have no idea why the feline, leopard, and dog tags were added, but they're removed now. And as for the pawpads, I just chock it up to artist laziness. I mean he does the comic for fun. As far as I'm concerned, he's allowed to draw his characters however he damn well pleases. He could suddenly draw rain in a Tutu and make it canon and I would merely shrug and keep reading.... Granted, that stems mostly from me wanting to see her in a tutu... but I digress.

...I'm now always gonna read her rural accent in a Scots brogue. :D

This is soooooooooooooo funny. I love what Rose implies about Raine.

The funny thing is if you look at her refrence sheet it says that she used to have a rural Keidran accent,but learned to speak like she does now, and in some pages (ex. Page 960) we can see her slip up for a second and start speaking with her rural accent

Could be that because Raine isn't used to her Keidran form, there's a degree of atypical traits (her pawpads are less worn from use or the like)
