Base salary for a fresh hired cop 'round where I live is 55k (However, they require that you have an associate's degree, at least), and that's before additional stuff like Night Differential, Overtime, and Extra duties. Got a friend who made $120k in a year, and if that ain't fuckin' sweet, I don't know what is.
