Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.
Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.
Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

I can no longer find this picture on the web, luckily I kept it on my computer. I also don't know the artist, so if anyone has any info about this, leave a comment.
When I first found it, they were named (from left to right) Kilia, Kalai, Kalamity and Karine. I doubt it's their real names though. It's also possible they don't have one at all.

Her account is https://www.deviantart.com/shanella but she no longer has that pic under her account. I think she has like 1 or 2 koopa anthro fanart pics on her DA though. I know this because i had this same pic from way back when lmao XDD.
The one on the far right is "Xochtil" and i believe the one with the purple hair is "Kiki" (i think, or it could be the one with the pink hair. Its been a long time).
Kiki is an OC of Shanella for sure (the artist in question), and Xochtil is an OC of a DeviantArt artist that goes by Zootalo. This really takes me back to that old Koopatorivm site where they had a bunch of Koopa Troopa and mario fanart.

Okay, so I don't know about this "Shanella" being the artist 'cause the signature on this pic is clearly different from hers.
About the characters, you're right about the black-haired one ("Xochitl", not "Xochtil", apparently).
The one named Kiki is indeed the pink-haired one, and I've found out that the purple-haired one is named Valena and is also one of Zootalo's OCs.
