Your not wrong for humans but some species of mammals do, its called The Baculum. I was watching a show about a store that sold oddities and someone had a whole jar of them. :)

Canines do, in fact, have bones inside their dicks.

Yes, but that bone has nothing to do with grip.
And it's not even located there, it doesn't extend trough the whole penis.

Yes there is, a quick wiki search is enough to say so. A lot of mammals have them except humans, some monkeys, Lagomorphs, and some others, but canines definitely have a bone in there... but not to the extent it's affected by grip as if it's through the whole thing. But eh, can't win em' all.

  • I'm sure another wolf's female parts may be just as tight all around, no? Constricting behind and on the knot, and what with the penis so large. The end of the penis will also contort significantly more than the rest of the penis during the knotting, pointing upwards into the cervix. The os penis does not extend to the end of the penis to allow this flexibility. However, it is still softer/more flexible than skeletal bone.

Don't worry Devon, your penis was built to be hardy, no pun intended. Though not nearly as well as Dire wolves.

It's possible to fracture the os penis, just not like that I believe, unless of course Addy bends her grip, then you're in trouble. A certain Dire wolf is famed for having a bent penis bone, having broke in half, and then healed. And their baculum are twice as thick as grey wolves. Must make for... an interesting intimate time.

Do you mind informing me more about this? I'm doing research on the canine peen and yet cannot find where the location differs in an erect vs nonerect penis, and the proportional differences of it. From diagrams it appears most of the penis contains the baculum. I've seen several x-rays, but not sufficient enough in details and other.

Huh, I thought dick-bones were more niche, not vice-versa

When god sings with his creations, will the dog dick bone not be part of the choir?
