Since Prequel is a parody of Homestuck's webcomic style, i guess it extends to that too. At least, that's where I first saw it and it's a very enjoyable aesthetic.

Fun fact: There is more Eto Ya content here on e621 than on their own Patreon (for example, this page of the comic isn't there), and the majority of stuff exclusive to the Patreon (not all of it, but most) is just abandoned comics and old sketches that Eto Ya has said they will never fully finish. Considering how many abandoned projects there are, wouldn't surprise me if we never see another page of this, and frankly it's lucky it lasted as long as it did.

I adore Eto Ya's art, but it seems follow-through is not their strong suit, sadly.

This is true for a vast majority of artists. It seems like a lot of them have either no idea how to continue a comic or just don’t give a shit about finishing out story lines.
