Well let's see: there was a funeral for a law enforcement officer who was killed in the line of duty who was the father of the protagonist. I am sure that counts as grim.

With what I've seen with usernames, they normally don't hold too much meaning. In fact, normally they are just mentioned to be funny, or are a username the artist liked and wasn't taken already. What I'm trying to say is, the fact that his username is Grimm art could be entirely coincidental, but usually people don't take a username based on specific content because it's limiting.
