    The switch was a little bit confusing... Other than changing genders and the guy turning furry... They don't exactly resemble each other. Still, it's cute <3

    Huh. I understood it that Trace and Flora switched minds, and, that Keith and Natani switched minds.
    I did not understand it that Trace morphed to look like Natani and that Flora morphed to look like Keith.
    However, I don't see Keith and Natani in the first two panels, so now I'm a bit confused.

    It would have been better if Natani and Keith were there for an establishing shot, but given that Flora is "struck" by blue energy and Trace gets "struck" with orange; and the fact that the magic hits Trace in the cheek, but Natani has a glow above her head makes me think your initial interpretation is correct.
