    Actually, she was never named Ditzy Doo in the first place. The name "Ditzy Doo" was mentioned once during the Winter Wrap Up episode, but the character was never actually shown on-screen. When questioned as to what the derp-eyed pegasus was named, Lauren Faust said "It could be Ditzy Doo, if you like." Or...something along those lines. Anyway, the two were never officially associated. BUT! Lauren recently labeled a drawing of Derpy with her fan name, so it became "official" that her name is now Derpy.
