Yeah. I'm seeing this push of people going "But it's not creepy!" and I'm wondering if they saw the same trailer. Pokemon is known for bright worlds and interesting creatures. At most they should have been textured akin to Pokken, or they should have been slightly redesigned to fit into a human world.

This movie gives a horrifying dystopian everyone-lives-in-a-ditch atmosphere and all the pokemon are just horrifyingly uncanny valley. Only pikachu SLIGHTLY gets away with this, but psyduck (who is supposed to be cute) looks several times more horrifying than howard the duck.

This movie will horrify any kids brought to see it (especially with the sheltered lives they live nowadays). Ryan Reynolds will be the main thing selling this movie, but that will not save it in the long run. I really hope this crashes and burns as this movie looks like those purposefully edgy fan films.
