Lol, I got downvoted for trying to help. It's not like you can't get the original resolution from supporting them on Patreon but that will cost you. Waifu2x doesn't even allow a resolution above 2500x2500 so it doesn't cheat the artist either.

Lol, I’d have to disagree. This method actually makes images look cleaner and sharper from what I’ve tested but you do you. This pics resolution went from 900x600 to 1,800x1,200. It also doesn’t lose the quality at all. Again, only trying to help with the issue of the small res.
